Porterhaus Butchery is pleased to announce that we have joined the Coeliac Australia, Gluten Free Accreditation program!

Everything that we produce is Gluten Free and ready for you to enjoy without missing out on our famous flavours. 

Now located at the corner of Hofmans Rd and Keilor Rd Essendon, this is the new home for Porterhaus Butchery Niddrie, run by Andrew and Nadene McIntyre.

We began in 1984 at Mal McKays in Napier St. Strathmore. From there, we have over 7 years experience running Commercial Butchers in the old Moonee Ponds Market, and over 7 years in the then fabulous Camberwell Market. This then lead to a 13 year stint creating Porterhaus Fine Food Butchery in Moonee Ponds.

The wheel has turned again, departing Moonee Ponds to concentrate wholly on creating Porterhaus Butchery Niddrie as the Finest Meat supplier. This has allowed us to take our quality to the next level. Something that requires us to be 100% hands on. Hence the move from Moonee Ponds to be solely a single entity in Niddrie

Our team uses this vast experience to provide the best quality meat and service, built on supply relationships with the best meat providers in Victoria. This allows us to supply you with the best quality beef, lamb, pork, veal and chicken in Victoria. It hasn’t taken 35 years to create these chains with the best producers, it’s been 35 years nurturing them!

We love giving someone the best, most awesome piece of meat. When you go to the trouble of preparing a meal, we want you to enjoy the amazing texture, tenderness and mouth watering flavour. We want you to eat with a smile.
